🥾 Route through the most iconic enclaves of the Sierra de Mijas with views of the Costa del Sol 🥾
It is a beautiful and demanding route that runs through a section of the Great Path of Malaga as it passes between Mijas Pueblo and Alhaurín de La Torre.. We will first arrive at the magnificent viewpoint of the Cañada del Lobo, to some 600 masl, with its incredible views of both the coast and the interior; Additionally, in the area we will come across a mountain refuge and a Nature classroom.. Walking the Great Path of Malaga towards Mijas, We will continue until the detour to the summit of Mount Calamorro (770 masl), where the mountain station of the Benalmádena Cable Car is located (perfect place to rest and refuel), with its also amazing viewpoints and the Águilas exhibits (Valley of the Eagles Foundation). After reaching the same summit of the mountain we will go down a sandy and steep path until we reconnect to the GSM although we will leave it immediately to go around Calamorro itself until we reach the Cueva del Toro and from there to the starting point in the Arroyo de la Miel.

Use: The schedule can be modified by the organization and will be confirmed and specified anyway when reserving the route; as an alternative for those who prefer it, The optional concentration point will be at the Benalmádena/Arroyo de la Miel commuter station at 9 a.m. right on the small esplanade just in front of the entrance
